Toysday: The Shoulders of Giants

I'm still futzing around with my shelves, but one of the things I found was that Fortress Maximus just doesn't fit. He doesn't fit in the shelves, and he doesn't fit between the top shelf and the ceiling. You may have hit this snag yourself, if you collect.

The solution? a smaller Vittsjo shelf- only three levels high. On it will go the Titans, the Combiners... Any large scale figure that doesn't fit elsewhere.

     Here's a preview

     Damn, Fort Max is BIG

History

11 years of history with my 1994 Honda Civic came to an end today, as it rolled off down the street with it's new owner.

It's bittersweet. The Black Pearl is going to serve me well, just as I will server her as her captain. I need a really big hat tho.

But the civic went with me through think and lots of thin.

I'm satisfied the new owner is going to enjoy it tho.

A new owner who I could see would enjoy the car, and driving it.

     This is what I wanted.
This is what Mr. Smith wanted.
     I am Mr. Smith

where in the world is Mr. Smith???

I've been working on car related stuff and that's been top of my priorities list. I have a new used car, and am hopefully letting the Civic go tonight- Pics of the new car to follow when she's all duded up.

Toysday: Introducing a Third Party Masterpiece to your Official Masterpiece Collection

Properly introducing third party masterpieces to your official Has/Tak collection can be tricky- not just due to differences in Aesthetics and Quality, but also due to possible personality conflicts.

The First, Most important step is to introduce your new third party piece to pieces of similar temperament and size.

I had chosen to introduce Maketoys Jazz to Sideswipe, Sunstreaker,

Tracks,

and Wheeljack.

It was tense, cautious. I was afraid we weren't going to get a match, and that the collection would go Jazz-less, as Has/Taks plan for him seems to involve sometime after the fall of western civilization, But then Bumblebee rolled up. Everything just sort of relaxed.

Sideswipe admired Jazz's Rocket Launcher

Sunstreaker wanted to show off his hidden pistol- He also noted that they had similar leg transformation

Tracks wanted to know who does Jazz's bodywork.

And Wheeljack had some interesting ideas for... upgrades
